Inventor, Paul Lieb, advised correspondents that the original idea for Bullet Bobber came to him one day as he studied a kite as it was being steered through the sky with a single line. "Bullet Bobber certainly does not resemble a kite," says Lieb, "but the physics of aerodynamics work the same way. Bullet Bobber is much easier to control, of course, than a kite."
