BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK
MAY 1998

It snowed lightly as we arrived at our 8,200 ft. elevation campsite (although the photo says 9,000). The temperature dropped to 24 degrees F the first night. After that, it warmed up to 30 at night.

We rose early the next morning to catch Bryce Canyon at sunrise. This video frame was taken at "Sunrise Point" around 6:10 AM.

Although the best views are found along the many trails throughout the park, some of the sights seen from roadside overlooks are:


Some spectacular sights which are better seen from the trail include sights along the Ferryland Canyon Trail. This wall of stone is encountered on the Ferryland Canyon Trail as well. The Queen's Garden Trail takes you through two tunnels and on to some gorgeous colored landscape.
